This page explains what AudioBrief Studio stores, why it stores it, and who can see it.

When you create an account we store your email address and, if you choose to connect WhatsApp, the phone number you verify. When you record, import or send a voice note we store the audio file, its transcript, the structured brief generated from it, and the folder and status you file it under.
Your recordings, transcripts and briefs are private to your account. Access is enforced at the database level: every read and write is scoped to the signed-in user, so another customer of AudioBrief Studio cannot retrieve your data. Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.
Audio is sent to third-party speech-to-text and language models in order to produce the transcript and the structured brief. Without this step the product cannot function. If you connect WhatsApp, incoming voice notes are additionally received through the WhatsApp messaging provider. Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not see or store card details.

You can delete any brief from the app at any time, which removes the transcript and the generated brief from your workspace. To request deletion of your whole account, email support@audiobriefstudio.com.

We record product analytics events (for example: a brief was created, search was used) to understand how the product is used. These events are tied to your account identifier and email address. We do not send the contents of your briefs to analytics.
